Where there’s a Will…

If you are at least 60 years old and you don’t have a will, there is a way for you to get one.

The Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program will help you draw up a will and execute the documents for you. The service is free; but you do have to call and make an appointment.
Call (713) 228-0735 Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.

All meetings will be at the Third Ward Multi-Purpose Center. The deadline to apply and get your appointment is April 15th. Don’t wait until the last minute; HVLP says they’re usually jam-packed towards the end of the deadline and you have to give them enough time to get your documents filed.
